Swansea
Swansea is best known for it’s proximity to the lake, Humber River and High Park. This residential neighbourhood boasts mature trees, curving roads and it’s very own community run Town Hall. Bloor West Village is the primary shopping district and is home to more than 400 shops, restaurants and services. The variety of stores include boutique clothing stores, book stores, restaurants and cafes. Many houses in this neighbourhood are in walking distance to the Bloor-Danforth subway line.
Swansea offers many semi-detached homes, 2 storey, and bungalows built between 1905-1940. A small number of apartment buildings are located in the southern portion of Swansea as well as the areas original worker cottages built in 1880s.
